My Project
My students are an amazing group of PreK students ages three to five at an inner city school in St. Louis. Their bodies and brains are learning and growing through meaningful learning experiences.
Students in PreK are developing necessary fine motor skills to be able to engage independently in more complex learning experiences in and out of school.
The tools and manipulatives in this project will help build these necessary skills. Hole punches, tweezers, and scoopers help strengthen their grips. The magnetic ten frames and cubes will help add a mathematical side to the fine motor skill building by helping with one to one correspondence.
