My Students

My students are so amazing. I work with special education students and also the entire school benefits from the many projects that I create. We are a caring and compassionate school. We are currently in a blended learning environment. Some students are in school full time and others are learning from home. I want to create individual sensory and fine motor boxes for their use. These will help with strengthening their hands, help with fidgeting and provide materials to help with classroom activities.

My Project

I want to create a supply box of needed materials for my special ed students. Due to Covid 19, they require individual supplies and materials. These supplies consist of specialized scissors, pencils, grips, etc. that can help with independence in classroom activities.

I want to create individualized boxes to be used in the classroom to help with fine motor skills, finger strengthening, and bilateral coordination.

These materials can support my students in achieving greater independence with cutting, writing, and drawing in the classroom. Success in an activity brings joy to a student and motivates them to actively participate in the learning process.
