My Project
Most of my students have weak fine motor skills which makes learning to write very difficult. Our art area has basic crayons and markers and doesn't get a lot of attention. Adding elements to our art area that our students don't interact with often, like pastels, stickers and ink, can and adding a sand/water table guarantee they will go to those area. Art activities and sand/water play exercise and strengthened fingers, hands, and wrists. Also reinforce math concepts like reasoning, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, adding, subtraction, measurement, and spatial awareness. All of these skills will important for learning.
