This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school has five hundred and seventy-nine students and is a Title I school!

My kindergartners are full of energy, ready to play and learn!

My students are always eager to want to know and learn more! They ask many questions, they talk a lot, they are curious and like to discover! We are going to learn many things! We will work on our manners, social skills, fine and gross motor skills, academics, and tons more!

Most of our students are English language learners and the majority of our students qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch program.

My Project

This coming school year, I will be teaching kindergarten instead of first grade! I am extremely excited and also nervous of what's to come!

I want to my kindergartners to work on their fine motor skills, especially after a year of learning and staring at a screen for many hours.

I would like to obtain play dough, the tools, magnetic sticks to make letters, and stickers!

I want them strengthen their little fingers and hand muscles by using the play dough and the different tools that will help with their fine motor skills! I want them to manipulate different materials and know how to make letters. Finally, I want to obtain stickers to show them how proud I am!
