Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a Kindergarten teacher, I am reminded everyday about how important fine motor skills are for students.
Basic skills like learning to use scissors and how to hold a pencil correctly are developed because of fine motor skills.
Kinder is the place where these foundational skills are taught and practiced.
Fine motor skills can get stronger through using your fingers and hands. For example, string items, playing with playdoh/clay and sand, lacing, etc. This project will my give students a fun, hands-on experience where they can strengthen their fine motor skills. Giving students the opportunities to develop these critical skills is key to future learning and success!
