Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a self-contained cross-category classroom. My students are 3, 4, and 5-years-olds. Our class is play based while teaching the students skills they will use kindergarten.
My preschool students were born during the pandemic or just before and are beginning to learn there is a world outside their home and family.
This is difficult for both parents and students. These items like puzzles, blocks and dot markers will not only enhance my student's new experiences but peak their interest while teaching them critical skills.
When student's underlying needs are met they become available and open to more learning experiences.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
