Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our wonderful special education classroom is full of bright, energetic, and diverse learners. One thing they all have in common is their positive attitudes and fantastic imaginations that they use to create a happy world within our walls. They come to school everyday with inquisitive minds and a desire to learn and grow.
My Project
My classroom needs books that reflect my diverse students' backgrounds and experiences. The books on this list represent the students in my class. They will be able to see themselves represented in the books. These books on their classroom bookshelves will validate how their personal stories matter.
These materials will make a huge difference in my students learning because it will give them tools they need to develop their fine motor skills.
The fine motor centers will not only increase fine motor experience but will also introduce them to the world of STEM.
