Fine Motor for Funny Friends

Help me give my students the opportunity to use their hands with MagnaTiles.

My Students

Hi! We are located in the heart of Kailua, Oahu. We are a Title I school with a high population of ELL students coming from all over the world.

My students walk into the classroom with big smiles on their faces ready to learn.

Our faculty and staff provide all types of wonderful activities for our students to make learning fun. We have art, music, PE, and an excellent maker space where the students build and program LEGO robots with partners.

My Project

Our students have spent a year doing on-line learning. I teach 2nd grade an our little tikes havenʻt had many opportunities to work their fine motor skills. I plan to incorporate daily times for my students to build and explore.

They can get just as much practice on their fine motor while working with Legos as with practicing handwriting, plus this is so much more fun.

I really want to make this year educational and one to remember with time to grow through exploration. Please help support our keiki. Mahalo
