This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students struggle with activities that require fine motor skills: cutting, holding a pencil, writing, coloring, etc...I want to help them increase their fine motor skills.
I am requesting fun and engaging activities that will promote fine motor development. The activities include stringing alphabet beads together, creating pictures with peg boards, sorting colors by placing nuts on bolts, building with magnets, and creating patterns by popping beads together. As my students develop their fine motor skills, they will feel more successful and confident in writing and cutting.
