Fine Motor and Sensory Play

My Project

By donating, you will help my students grow and learn through play in occupational therapy. My students are first-grade students who have autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays. Helping them learn through play materials will make learning more fun and will help them improve their fine motor skills and sensory regulation so they can better participate in the classroom. The kinetic sand, puffy foam, ABC dough cutters, Wikki Stix, and dot paint will help my students learn to form their letters properly through kinesthetic and tactile learning, targeting different learning styles. Mr. Potato Head and Curious George dressing will help them improve their fine motor skills and their self-care (activities of daily living [ADL] skills. So far through donations we received in the past, we were able to greatly improve our therapy services and we hope to continue to do the same through this donation. We so appreciate your help.
