This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is not just a place to learn history, reading and writing; but also a space to make friends, learn of ourselves and others, and explore new things. This school year we did not only focus on developing academic skills, but also social emotional learning. They have learned strategies such as listening to music to help them study and destress; journaling and with this project finding their inner artistic talent and using art to express themselves. This is a perfect way to end the year and take away something to remember our year.
