My kindergarten students come from low economic households in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are lively, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. They are determined, each unique, and come with a diverse set of skills and interest.
My students are so excited to be at school every day and are ready to learn.
I want to foster that excitement in terms of providing materials to grow their learning. I want to make sure I give my students everything they need to fall in love with learning and achieve their goals this school year.
My Project
My students will be able to use these centers in order to become better readers and mathmaticians. These activities will allow them to work at their own pace in an individual center based on their own level. By doing interactive activities, my students will be able to absorb so much more information while in the classroom when I am working with other small groups during center time. These interactive centers allow the students to rlearn in a game form instruction without them really knowing that it is work because it is presented in a completely different way.
This project will make a difference in my classroom because the students will have efficient centers that will enhance learning.
