My Students

My classroom is full of energetic third graders. I fully believe that they are all able to learn, if they are given the appropriate tools. A typical day in my classroom involves learners engaged in hands-on activities for math, language arts, science, and social studies. My students are able to work in several types of learning groups.

Our school can be described as a fun, caring, and creative environment for students to come to daily.

Our students come from a very diverse range of home structures.

My Project

My students love to wiggle and move. The Active Learning Stools will provide them with the ability to move without being a distraction to other students.

I want my third grade students to be able to release their extra energy in a positive way.

Students can do that when sitting on the hooki stools. They are able to move side to side and have the sensation of moving without ever leaving their seat. This would also help to prevent students getting up from their seat for no real reason.

My classroom has low tables and desk, standing desk, traditional seating, and a carpet area. The active learning stools would be a great addition to our flexible seating.
