My Project

Many special needs students often experience heightened anxiety and stress, which can make continuing through the school day difficult. A calming corner, created with requested rug and beanbag, serves as a refuge where students can relax and manage their stress levels. They can I step away from what is causing their anxiety momentarily, gather their thoughts, and take a breath before going back to the challenge.

A calming corner fosters emotional regulation by offering a designated space where students can practice self-soothing techniques.

This invaluable skill supports the development of emotional resilience and self-control, enabling students to navigate challenges more effectively.
