This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the future leaders of tomorrow. As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. It is my desire to give my students, an even playing field. This will be my ninth year in teaching and fifth year teaching first grade. I am a big advocate for literacy and math development. I believe in giving my students a head start and equipping them with strategies to broaden their horizons. I make it a mission to encourage my students to believe anything is possible in life. I consider every day to be a wonderful opportunity to teach inquisitive, insightful, delightful, and extraordinary 6-year-olds. Your contribution will facilitate, in the development of authentic, ambitious, imaginative open-minded individuals. The donations will be used to enhance students' learning and help develop well-rounded students.
My Project
Please help me give my students incentives to encourage positive behavior and academic progress. The school year is a critical time for all students. Students are meeting their academic goals and preparing for promotion to the next grade level during this time. It is my goal to motivate my students to reach their full potential.
When scholars do the right thing every day, they deserve to be rewarded.
I am requesting your help in developing a treasure box in my classroom. My scholars deserve to be rewarded for working hard, and I would like to provide them with opportunities.
Sometimes students can be overwhelmed with negativity. I am requesting support with scholar incentives, Play-Doh, slime, candy, and party favors to foster positive behavior. This project will help drive positivity throughout the learning environment.
