My Project

Do you remember when you were in school you had a class job like turn on the room light or pass out papers? Also, do you remember getting pay for doing that job? My students will get an idea of how money is exchanged for goods and services through a classroom store. At the end of each month the children get pay for their services with play money to be used to buy novelty toys like some magic trick toys or finger puppets. Beside using Math to calculate the cost of goods, they would also learn to save money and other financial literacy skills to other Social Studies units of Civic Duties study that takes place throughout the year.
