My Students

I have a diverse group of students. Their ability levels range in ability from students who struggle in school, due to learning disabilities, to gifted. One common characteristic among all students is their enthusiasm for learning.

I work diligently to plan exemplary literacy lessons and activities that challenge the students, but also allow them to use their unique talents and abilities to showcase or demonstrate their depth of knowledge.

I want to motivate and inspire my students to become lifelong learners.

My Project

I am requesting books to help my students learn more about money and to become knowledgeable about their finances. The books will provide opportunities for students to learn the basics of saving money and handling checking accounts.

Our goal is to help our students become financially responsible adults.

It is essential for the students to learn the importance of saving money and using credit wisely. I work with students who live in poverty. Their families are transient due to financial issues. I would like to introduce the concepts of managing money and budgeting by exposing the students to real-life financial situations.
