Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Creating a good study environment allows students to maximize learning efficiency.
My students come from a high poverty neighborhood with a very diverse range of home structures: nuclear, single parent, foster and migrant, to name a few.
My students love to be at school and enjoy learning, especially when the activities are hands-on. Many of my students are English Language Learners that attend a public school in the South Central Los Angeles area.
My Project
Creating a good study environment allows students to maximize learning efficiency. When combined with effective time management, high motivation, good reading and note taking skills, and systematic test preparation, a good study environment serves as a catalyst for productive effort. I need the Double Wide Storage Cart to organize our art supplies. I lack of space in my classroom where I have no space to store our art supplies. I will use the Double Wide Storage Cart to place markers, color pencils, rulers, erasers, construction paper, paints, and brushes. For me is very important to take care of these materials and to keep them organize. I will also need the solar power racer. I like to teach the importance of producing energy and at the same time protecting our environment. I will allow my students to put it together the solar racer and to test it out in the playground during recess time. They will learn about solar power and how it works.
Creating a positive learning environment in the classroom will allow students to feel comfortable, safe and engaged, something that all students deserve.
In a classroom where values and roles remain constant and focus is placed on the positive aspects of learning, students will be more open to actively participating in class. So please help out with this project. Thank you.
