This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will use the whiteboard provided to create a thinking classroom, where students gather around a whiteboard to collaborate and make sense of complicated and abstract Math concepts. When working on a whiteboard, students are enabled to take risks without the fear of being wrong. It's so easy to erase and re-write instead of working on a paper. Students are eager to bring their ideas to everyone's attention in their team and sharing helps them learn to communicate and verbalize their thinking in an academic setting. Additional whiteboard space is going to add more pizzazz to our Math class!
