My Project

Fundraising allows children to feel a sense of pride in ownership of themselves. It empowers children by giving them the ability to control their own destinies, in a sense.

My students will benefit from the experience and pride of raising funds for this unforgettable experience.This activity will make my students feel as if they are more in control of their lives.

Organization is not easy for my special needs kids. Help me give my students a great way to learn about financial literacy with binders and dividers. These supplies will help modify many lessons.

Keeping track of out fundraiser gives my students the opportunity to organize and gives them ownership of their accomplishments. It will enable students to work with money and "customers". Learning to work with others and stepping out of the box will not only be a lesson in finance but in social and emotional health.
