This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are so eager to learn when they come into class every day! They look forward to learning and playing with their friends in our preschool classroom. Our students use the materials in the classroom to apply their learning and find new and inventive ways to be creative.

We are a Title I school with students that are passionate about learning!

The students love to take what they learn and put it into practice. Our students are encouraged to be creative and learn through hands-on materials!

My Project

Student love to play pretend and they learn so much through it! In early childhood, play is necessary for their development. Students love to play with items that are present in their everyday life. Items like the ones included in this kit resemble those in real-life.

This kit will encourage my students to learn about money, quantities, sharing, business, community, numbers and communication.

The cash registers have numbers on them which will help with number recognition. The basket with fruit and vegetables will help them learn about health and nutrition. The books will help students learn about community helpers and will help them with role play. They will learn how to earn money and responsible when spending it as well.
