My Project
My goal is to help students develop a strong foundation in financial literacy by the end of the school year. This includes teaching them how to manage money, understand savings, and develop responsible spending habits. I also aim to enhance their math skills, such as addition, subtraction, and estimation, through real-life applications. Ultimately, I want to prepare my students with essential life skills that will help them succeed both academically and personally.
My students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn, but many come from diverse backgrounds where financial literacy is not always emphasized.
Despite facing various challenges, they are resilient and demonstrate a strong desire to succeed. They thrive when learning is interactive and hands-on, and I believe these money lessons will empower them to make informed decisions about money in the future. Each of my students brings a unique perspective, and I’m confident that these lessons will help unlock their potential to become financially responsible citizens.
