My Project
I currently have an amazing group of second-grade students. Their eagerness to explore new ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and actively engage in our lessons makes each day exciting. I requesting construction paper, crayons, colored pencils and markers that will enable my students to create self portraits. I am not requesting the typical set of construction paper and crayons... this special set, created by Crayola, includes a reflection of the various skin tones all around the world
The project I have planned involves using construction paper, crayons, colored pencils, and markers will enable my students to create self-portraits that accurately reflect their individual appearances and celebrate the diversity within our classroom community.
With your generous donation, we will be able to provide our students with a culturally rich learning experience that promotes diversity, acceptance, and empathy. Your support will not only enhance our students' understanding of themselves and others but also contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
Your support in funding this project will make a meaningful difference in the education and development of my young learners.
