My Project
My students are hardworking, creative, and full of potential. What I admire most is their willingness to take on challenges and learn through hands-on experience. In a small rural community with limited access to commercial opportunities, they don’t just dream big—they build those dreams right here at school through our student-run store, Warhawk Landing.
They are learning the true meaning of entrepreneurship, economics, and financial literacy—not from a textbook, but through hands-on experience.
They design graphics, manage finances, market products, and interact with customers. These students take ownership of their learning and pride in every shirt they press and every sale they make.
The HP Envy 2-in-1 Laptop will become the central hub for our school store operations. With its powerful processor and touchscreen design capabilities, students will:
Design custom graphics for shirts, hats, and merchandise using professional software
Operate our POS system to process credit card transactions, learning financial responsibility
Connect to classroom printers and cutters to produce and customize products from start to finish
This one device will allow students to streamline business operations, increase efficiency, and most importantly—deepen their understanding of what it takes to run a successful business. They’ll be gaining real-world skills that translate directly into future college, career, and life success.
