My Project

With our class economy, we are teaching our students how to handle, save, and spend their money wisely. Throughout the school year, students have classroom jobs that earn them class money. Student learning outcomes for financial literacy encompass a variety of essential skills and knowledge that enable students to make informed and responsible financial decisions. These outcomes include understanding the basic concepts of budgeting, saving, and investing, as well as comprehending the importance of credit and debt management. Students should also develop critical thinking skills to evaluate financial products and services, such as loans and insurance policies. Additionally, financial literacy outcomes involve promoting responsible spending habits, teaching students how to create and manage a personal budget, and fostering an understanding of the impact of financial decisions on both individual and societal levels. By achieving these outcomes, students are equipped with the necessary tools to navigate the complex world of personal finance and make sound financial choices throughout their lives.
