Help me give my students a filter and other classroom supplies to stay safe during the pandemic

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are from low-income communities while some of them are ESL learners and also bilingual students. My students are mostly living in apartments and have limited ways to stay motivated while learning remotely. The students belong to households where parents are struggling with English and cannot offer enough support at home.
My Project
My STEM classroom in a Title one school has a different classroom every period that ranges from 12-35 students at a time. Some of them have special needs while others are as young as 3 and 4 year old Pre-k students who are limited in how they manage the spread of germs.
We are nervous about the Covid and flu virus inside our classrooms, especially when the windows are closed and students are breathing the same air in a small space
Help give my students an air filter that will help recycle the air inside our STEM classroom.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
