My Students

I teach at a STEM middle school, a program where everything is cross-curricular. Students direct their own learning and find their own answers. We solve real world problems and use critical thinking. Students direct their own learning and find their own answers. Walk into our classroom and you'll step over students' stability balls and stools for seating to watch filming at our multiple green screens.

Providing them with more resources to do this will only empower them to become better filmmakers and better learners.

My Project

Film@STEM students hope to add new tripods, green screen frames, and more to our materials closet. Since the program serves a majority of the student body, our well-loved materials sometimes need to be re-stocked.

After a great run, it's time for our tripods, slates, and some green screen frames to be retired!

A film production set is tough on equipment; a middle school film production set is brutal! So we may continue to have high-quality productions and "real feel" equipment, we need to replenish a few supplies.

In adding to our equipment, we hope to add a new phone rig to allow for even more productions and live streaming.
