it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have an amazing group of students who are eager to learn their craft and pushing the envelope! They are a diverse group of students with the most unique personalities who want to be successful in life! They absolutely love telling stories and want to share them with the world!
My Project
I teach a filmmaking class, and we make films throughout the year. Due to recent global situations, it is making it tough to do this. Either students don't have the equipment or they can't gather. Providing a class set of Kindle Fires would help provide my students with an all in one device where they can shoot, edit, and submit their projects from the safety of their home. When they are done, they can turn them in, sanitize, and made available to a number of my other students.
Filmmaking is unique because it allows each student to freely think, write, gather, plan, execute, shoot, and organize their thoughts and ideas.
It requires the students to use a wide spectrum of skills in order to have an end product.
