My Students
I am lucky enough to teach some of the most amazing third graders. Many of my students have only experienced school during a pandemic, they don't know what a "normal" school year is like. Even though there are a lot of uncertainties in the world, I will do my best to make sure my student's needs are being met at school.
I want to make sure school is a place where students can come to be loved, feel safe, and to learn and grow!
My students love school, are eager to learn and grow, and are full of questions. I want them to keep that curiosity and spark in their learning by supplying them with tools to help them learn and collaborate with their classmates.
My Project
My students have many gaps in their learning as a result of going to school during a pandemic.
Being able to come to school and knowing in our class we have a positive learning environment with fun and engaging supplies is something I want to give my students.
The products in this project will help the students in my classroom in many ways. Legos, Magna-tiles, watercolors, and dominos will help make learning more hands-on, STEM-based, and cross-curricular to help students retain information. Students love using these materials, with students having access to them, students will be more excited and eager to come to school. The rest of the supplies are things that will help the students feel loved and welcomed in our classroom and rewards they can earn!
