Help me give my students the snacks they need to get them through the day when they are hungry and tired, when they need a little encouragement, or to reward them for a job well done!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an awesome group of English Language Learners in a Title I school. Most of them receive free breakfast and lunch at school, and these are sometimes the only meals they have throughout the day.
Help me give my students snacks to boost their energy on days they are tired and hungry, to motivate them to focus at the task at hand on days they are distracted, and/or to reward them on days they work hard, and achieve their academic goals of the day.
Like all students they have their good and bad days. Having snacks around can be a nice way to help them fill their tummies so they can learn better, open their minds, and feel cared for.
