Hi! I teach second grade in a title one public school in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
Everything the children learn in the classroom is integrated into many different subject areas. To make this more fun for the children, we have different centers during the day. The children always enjoy having new center games to pique their interest so they don't get bored. We would appreciate two boxes of file folder games to keep their centers fun and exciting. I'd also like to have two books of poetry because we have a poetry center and the children get bored with the same old poems all the time. The last thing that would benefit the children is a "teaching with favorite author" book to make their author study more interesting. All of these things will benefit all sixteen children in my classroom.
