Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am privileged to work with young adults who have Moderate to Severe Disabilities. Oftentimes we have encountered many people trying to help, and it is quite beautiful; however, what often occurs is that in supporting and trying to make things easier for my students ,they often overlook the importance of the struggles the students undergo and that's what grows their skills and life experiences. With your support I plan on introducing 3d printing using filament and accessories to them in a manner which will hopefully spur their creativity and collaboration. Although success is the goal for which we strive for, the journey is the reward.
