Filament Fantasy

My Project

In our classroom, we have the incredible opportunity to integrate 3D printing into our lessons, but to truly maximize the potential of our MakerBot 3D printers, we need additional high-quality filament. These printers are powerful tools that allow students to transform their creative ideas into tangible objects, giving them hands-on experience with design, engineering, and problem-solving. However, the current filament supply is limited, and we are running out of the materials necessary to continue offering these unique opportunities to all of our students.

By expanding our filament supply, we will be able to provide more students with the chance to engage in projects that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation.

These supplies will not only help us maintain a consistent flow of projects throughout the year but will also ensure that every student, regardless of grade level or background, has access to the resources they need to explore their full creative potential.

Having a reliable stock of filament will allow us to integrate 3D printing into more subject areas, from STEM and math to art and history. It will encourage students to bring their ideas to life and explore real-world applications of technology and design. With your generous support, we can create a more inclusive, engaging, and dynamic learning environment for all of our students.
