This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a bright, inquisitive group of third-graders who love coming to school and learning. However, sometimes they don't have the opportunity to get a good breakfast at home, or they get hungry after lunch. With the snacks in their tummies, students will be able to focus on their learning and not have to be thinking about their hunger.
Having a snack during the day helps students remain engaged, and cleaning their desks and hands helps them remain healthy.
Unfortunately, too many students get sick at school because of the proximity with others, but cleaning their areas helps prevent them from infecting others.
