This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My project will impact the needs that I see daily with students who need a backpack because they are low-income and have to carry their supplies in their hands. At the beginning of the year I was able to donate backpacks but they were not enough and they were very grateful. The water bottles go daily and they ask for a plastic cup because they do not have a bottle that they can refill with water and they have not asked if we can supply a bottle. This will help them be happier and not have to worry about their supplies being lost or damaged due to different weather changes.
