My Students
My students are incredible. I could never describe them in one word. They are students that come from low-income families and have a wide range of special needs.
These students never let their disability stop them from reaching their goals.
They work hard, harder than an average student. We have a lot of fun together and they truly are "my kids". They make me want to be a better teacher everyday and I am always looking for ways to help them.
My Project
Many of my students are classified with ADHD and ADD, because of this, they sometimes struggle to stay focused in my ELA classroom.
My students need fidget toys to help them stay focused in their ELA classroom.
These students are extremely hard workers but they need to be constantly refocused. Sometimes, they tap their pencils and move around in their seats. You can see the look of frustration in their faces because they just can't stop moving. They try hard to fight the fidgets but, sometimes, they just can't do it.
These Bouncy Bands and Fidget toys will help my kids stay focused while they are reading and writing within the ELA classroom.
