Fifth Graders Need Snacks and Supplies!

Help me give my students treats such as chips, tootsie rolls, starbursts and basic classroom supplies such as pencils, dry erase markers and correction tape.

This project is fully funded

My Project

This project will provide my 23 fifth graders with healthy and yummy snacks to eat during snack time in the afternoon as well as classroom supplies needed for class. My students often tell me how hungry they are, I bring in snacks from my own pantry at home to share with them but would love to have our class closet full of snacks for them to eat and take home. I surveyed the students and filled up my DonorsChoose cart with their favorites such as chips, gummies and tootsie-rolls. Our supply closet is also becoming bare. We have dry erase top desks but our cleaning rags have all seen better days. This project will provide us with new (dark colored) rags, so they will not become so dirty, as well as board cleaner, pencils and toothbrush holders to use and pencil holders. My school is a Title I school, 100% of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches.
