Fifth Graders Need Recess Materials to Increase Financial Literacy!

Help me give my students indoor and outdoor recess materials, such as footballs, kickballs, jump ropes, hula-hoops and math fluency games to help increase their financial literacy.

My Project

I want to provide my students with games to play during recess to increase their financial literacy. I teach at a Title-1 school located in Central Florida. 98% of students at my school are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches.

This project will help provide important lifelong lessons for 28 fifth grade students.

This project will provide our amazing fifth graders with hands-on materials to use during indoor and outdoor recess to help increase their financial literacy. We are located in sunny Central Florida. Our students partake in 20 minutes of recess every day. Some days, it is too hot or stormy so we all have to have indoors recess. These materials will provide them practice with financial literacy for the days we are outside (footballs, kickballs, hula-hoops, jump ropes and hopscotch) as well as days we are inside (multiplication facts games, fluency games).
