My Project

My fifth grade students will benefit from experiencing a combination of texts to explore social studies and/or science through literature. The books I have selected will engage my students and open a door to a love of reading as they approach middle school. We will practice authentic reading and critical thinking through a variety of genres throughout the year. Our focus with these novels will be to use contemporary literature to access cross-curricular connections. I'm looking forward to using these books as an avenue for my students to build knowledge!
