This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine a classroom filled with eager fifth graders, their eyes lighting up as they discover new worlds and knowledge within the pages of a book. At Frye Elementary, a Title I school, we are dedicated to fostering a love of reading and providing our students with the tools they need to succeed. But for many of our students, access to diverse and engaging books is limited.

Our project aims to bridge this gap by directly addressing the specific reading interests of our students.

This list is filled with stories that spark imagination, non-fiction that fuels curiosity, and characters that inspire. Your generous donation will directly impact these bright young minds by fueling a love of reading, supporting academic success and making a difference in a community where resources are often limited, giving our students the same opportunities as their peers.
