This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class loved the hoodies from our last DonorsChoose SO much. As the year comes to an end, we have a field day and a trip to the zoo around the corner. This group has worked so incredibly hard, I wish I had the time to make them more than one shirt! Please help supply black vinyl so I can decorate shirts for our class to hold onto forever. These shirts will help our class stay visible and together when we travel. It will also help the kids easily find and refer to one another in a public setting.

In third grade, we also often talk about hygiene.

I have a hygiene station in my classroom where students have easy access to toothbrushes, floss, deodorant, lip balm, and more. Please consider donating to our hygiene center. Sometimes these supplies go home for my class, but also for other students, such as family members at home.

Lastly, I'm requesting items that help us learn and keep our room clean. We need a new broom and dustpan, as well as anchor chart paper to finish off the year. These items will last for a while, and next year's class will also benefit from these things.
