This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help promote physical literacy on campus by providing equipment for my PE program. In addition this equipment will help provide equipment for a Field Day to help kids move their bodies and increase belongingness on campus. The weights will help kids understand the concept of muscular strength. The volleyballs will help students understand volleyball skills and build teambuilding. In addition this equipment will help students exercise and will work towards keeping students in physical shape. I would like to use this equipment to ensure that kids stay healthy and are educated about how to care for themselves. In a world where self-care is so important, PE can help build the importance of self.
