Help me give my students a new special education setting that has everything they need, such as fidgets, flexible movement seating like wobble disks and chair bands, manipulatives, and puzzles to teach them skills.
Hello and thank you for taking the time to review my project. I am a new special education teacher who just started my position and will take over a caseload of students from my two other special education colleagues. I took this classroom with nothing in hand, and I require assistance to give my exceptional students everything they need to transition into my classroom more easily and to succeed now and later.
Every item has a purpose to help my students.
For sensory needs, I want to give my students play-doh and squishy stress balls. My students rely on social skill sets, assistance in sequencing, and visual schedules and some of my items offer these supports. The wobble seats and chair bands would help them move as they work. The manipulatives and puzzles will help my students develop the skills they need to help them in school and the real world. Thank you again for reviewing my project.
