The goal for my students is to help them be able to concentrate on their studies.
By providing snacks for them as well as fidgets to use in the classroom the students will be able to focus better on their assignments.
A hungry belly does not allow the brain to engage in learning. Also a mind which is struggling to focus on one thing is tough, so fidgets can help their minds focus on the task at hand.
I work with a very unique and diverse population of students, grades 6-12. The students are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH). ISDB is a special education school which focuses on direct instruction via American Sign Language and Total Communication with in the DHH Department. I truly enjoy working with my students and want them to succeed.
