My Project
I am so lucky to be a 3rd grade teacher with these specific kids! My goal is to get every one of my students to love reading. Many of these students have done a lot of their reading on the computer over the last few years. I want to get good books into their hands.
I want these kids to love reading!
This year, we will have novel studies on both of these books and have the opportunity to relate to each other over great literature. My goal is for students to be able to talk about books, how the characters are similar to themselves, and bond over the experiences they go through in the stories.
I have also noticed that kids need to move around more now than ever. The fidget bands will offer a quiet way to do this, while students are still engaged in their reading!
