Fidgeting Fun With Flexible Seating for Busy Kindergarten Bodies
My students need flexible seating options such as stools, balls and cushions to meet their diverse learning needs. Flexible seating options will create a comfortable and inviting classroom atmosphere where all students can succeed.

My Students
Kindergarten is a time of transition and growth. Along with busy minds, students also have busy bodies that need to move in order to stimulate the brain. Each day we work on life skills and expand our learning through hands-on activities and applied learning projects.
We are a community of 25 kindergarten learners who work together to create lasting learning and fun memories.
In the classroom it is important to give students opportunities to discover how they learn best, and have materials for all students to be successful.
My Project
Learning, achievement, and concentration increase with the addition of movement in the classroom. When students are able to move and wiggle there is an increase of oxygen to the brain helping with cognitive processes. With these different seating options students will be able to fidget and wiggle while working.
Flexible seating options such as stools, balls and cushions provide students with ways to be comfortable while encouraging healthy bodies and minds.
I am working on redesigning my classroom seating to accommodate different learning styles and physical needs. By donating to this project you are helping me meet my student's needs and helping them become successful learners.
