This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are special education student who struggle to succeed in school. As a result of their various disabilties they have difficulty focusing in school during classroom lessons.
My students are special education students with various disabilities.
They want to succeed but have many barriers standing in their way. They don't have many opportunities available to them outside of school and turn to the school to fulfill their many needs.
My Project
Research has shown that using active movement cushions improve a student's abiltiy to pay attention in class by providing them with appropriate movment in the classroom setting. Fidget tools also provide students with appropriate movment in order to improve their attention skills. By using these cushions and figet tools my students will be able to improve their focus in class and pay attention to class lessons.
I believe this project will help my students to be more successful in school by helping them to improve their ability to focus in class.
By allowing them an appropriate way to move and fidget in the classroom they will improve their focus and thereby become more successful students.
