Help me give my students a bridge to retaining information with fidgets. They will assist them in the reduction of anxiety, and provide an outlet for improved focus.
Fidgeting is often viewed as a negative behavior. However, studies have shown a positive correlation between fidgeting and the development of its host. Using fidgets has resulted in increased focus, retention of material, and reduced anxiety. With the structured schedule and limited time to be silly, my students need to fidget. Creating a community of learners who are able to identify and resolve their feeling is crucial in our school. Creating a calm environment where students can learn, communicate, and decompress is vital. Education has been re-imagine to fit the needs of the learner. Brain breaks today are as important as the curriculum. Let's work together to fidget out loud!
