My Project

My students are energetic, curious, and hardworking learners who thrive in a classroom that celebrates effort, resilience, and focus. To help motivate and support them, I am building a prize box that is both exciting and purposeful—and I want to fill it with a variety of fun, functional fidget toys!

Fidget toys can be powerful tools in helping students self-regulate, improve concentration, and reduce anxiety.

By incorporating them as rewards, I can support students’ sensory needs while reinforcing positive behaviors and academic achievements. Whether it's a student working extra hard on a writing assignment or showing kindness to a classmate, these incentives make a big difference in keeping motivation high.

From pop-it keychains and mini puzzles to squishy animals and twisty snakes, each item in this project will serve a dual purpose: to delight students and to support their emotional and sensory needs. These items will go directly into our classroom prize box, which students can earn access to through positive behavior and goal-setting.

Thank you for helping me create a learning space that supports the whole child—with tools that are as rewarding as they are fun!
