This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are extremely fidgety and it makes it hard for them to stay seated and learn. I've noticed every day that my kids are struggling the same way. If these fidget stools come in, as well as the bands, I can offer more flexible seating for them, especially in small groups when it's important to concentrate. The bands will be for everyone, so they aren't upset if they can't sit in the wobble chairs whenever they want to, since the wobble chairs are few and far between. I hope to be able to get more wobble chairs later! The classroom will also feel more fun and exciting, and it would be a great way for me to start having a fun classroom as a first-year teacher!
